Today the class worked in pairs to make up actions and perform the poem we have been reading this week, "Windy Nights". It was great to see so much creative thinking and co-operation! The photos were just snapped quickly, but I hope you can get some idea of what went on. Here's the text of the poem, so if you're interested please ask your child to perform it for you...
Windy Nights
Rumbling in the chimneys,
Rattling at the doors,
Round the roofs and round the roads,
The rude wind roars;
Raging through the darkness,
Raving through the trees,
Racing off again across the great grey seas.
by Rodney Bennett
It's great see you all working so well as a class!
