Watermelon and Sunflowers!

This week we have been writing poems about summery things. We have been looking closely, touching, and even tasting things as we think of the right describing words to use. Here are some photos of us in action and some of our poems.

Bright yellow petals,

A dark coloured centre,

Leaves are very rough,

A prickly stem,

I wonder which one will grow tallest?

Brown attractive centre, busy with bees,

Love-heart shaped leaves,

Green, spiky stem,

I love sunflowers!
